JACKSONs of Steeple - Family Tree

While I am travelling, I am using my blog site as a place to share my most recent research – at least until I get home. This family tree represents a significant update to the on Jacksons of Steeple currently on my web site. The material that I based it on is available on a previous post: Timeline of JACKSON re: Steeple.  ADDITION: May 15, 2015: Derry will made 19 March 1747/1748 approved 19 July 1749. John JACKSON of Tobermore  in Kilerenaghan parish County Londonderry, to be buried in Ballynesareen old church. Sons Hugh and Luke, daughter Martha a minor. Son Luke is an apprentice. Brother-in-law Capt. William Ash RAINEY, executor son Hugh. Overseers my brother Clark and my sister by law Martha JACKSON. Witnesses John REA: Thomas STANTON: John CLEMENTS. Probate to executor, seal only a blob of wax. SOURCE: PRONI T808 NOTE: Given the combination of naming patterns and geographic proximity, I suspect there is a connection to be found here with the Jacksons of Tobermore. CAUTION:  Several of the relationships are imputed on the basis of pretty slim evidence; others have enough documentation backing their placement that I consider them to be rock solid. The research supporting the construction of this tree can be found on my rootsweb page, and can be accessed by clicking on the hyperlinks beneath. I still do not know where these Jacksons originated from, but one possibility is that they were related to the JACKSONs of Drogheda (NOTE: That particular page was written several years ago, and could benefit from updating).
